Aaj Ki Kishori is a micro-enterprise development program targeted for poor female youth. The program selects emerging micro-entrepreneurs and incubates them through business training, access to financial services, and technical assistance. Shashin Chokshi, a student at the University of Chicago and the creator behind this purposeful project, asked us to design a logo that would embody his cause. Therefore, we set out to create a logo that would become an optimistic identifier with ethnic and interconnected elements. The final radiating mark has been used on its own and incorporated into a pattern and was directly influenced by traditional Indian designs.

Interesting. If Shashin needs any resources, let me know -- the woman who founded WSEP Ventures, where I work, is now the CEO of the national association of micro-enterprise development organizations. I'd be happy to make an introduction.
