This house's minimalist design stems from the goal of creating a structure where form follows function; incidentally, it also results in a house where function follows form.  This seeming dichotomy actually produces a very productive relationship, where each space adheres to an overall loop of movement around a hallway that spans the full length of the main rectangular living space, creating both an aesthetic and functional space.
