For over sixty years, Heath Ceramics has made every piece of ceramic tile and tableware in its original Sausalito, California factory. Founded in 1948 by Edith Heath, her company lives on today and continues to produce beautiful yet simple, and enduring yet modern ceramic pieces. Many of Edith's original works have permanent collections in museums, such as the MOMA. Personally, I have encountered Heath's beautiful tableware both at their Sausalito factory and at numerous SF eateries, notably Chez Panisse and Farina.
