Wasara biodegradable tableware

These have been around for a while, but they first caught my eye at the Art Institute's Modern Wing a few months ago. Designed by Japanese studio simplicity, these Wasara products are constructed of renewable materials (bamboo, reed pulp, and sugar cane fiber) and are fully biodegradable and compostable. As stunning as these photographs are, they only begin to convey the beauty and elegance of the products in real life. The great news is that they can be found outside of museums; click below to purchase.
